On the occasion of its 100th anniversary Kaufhof AG made the carrier bag the focus of its anniversary activities. Around 500 students from 31 academies and universities took part with a total of 739 works. The sole aim was to create an artistic debate on what can be made out of, on, with, in about carrier bags. A selection of pages is photographed by me and printed again on newspaper in 2022. I selected short sentences from it and reproduced them in a tearing block where each sentence is given the space it needs separately. I linked the idea of exhibiting a gallery within a gallery to how in my practice I always take photos of existing photos and reproduce them again. The panels are the same dimensions in height as Christo's installation, I decided to make cutouts of the existing images I found in art catalogs from 1960-70 in order to appropriate the images and put them back into an exhibition context. The typography is placed according to a clear grid according to the 2 languages.&nbsp;These two languages are sepetared across the page with English at the top and Italian at the bottom. Because of this clear division I made the intervention to "cut" the book in half. I printed the entire book and folded the single-sided spreads in half.
